Donald Dewey has been a writer and editor his entire life. He has had some 30 plays staged in the US and Europe. He has also published 25 books of fiction and non-fiction, including biographies of actors James Stewart and Marcello Mastroianni that have been translated into several languages.  His latest book, The Art of Ill Will: The Story of American Political Cartoons, was published in the fall of 2007.
