Plays Celebrity Winner on the Dark Side: Three Short Plays Werewolf in Town Jump Around a Lot

Lewis Gardner's  plays have been presented at the Aspen Playwrights Conference, Cherry Lane Theater, Columbia University, Greenwich House Theater, Lee Stasberg Institute, Manhattan Punchline, Miniature Theater of Chester, New York Avant Garde Festival, Quaigh Theater, Stand Up New York, Vanderbilt University, and the Village Gate.  Actors who have appeared in his plays have included Danny Goldman, Kim Hunter, Stephen Lang, Vera Lockwood, and Ally Mills. His plays and poems have been published in numerous anthologies, magazines, and newspapers. A nonfiction book, Children of the Wild (with John Burger), was published by Simon & Schuster. He has been a member of the Actors Studio Playwrights & Directors Unit (with Harold Clurman) and the BMI Musical Theater Workshop (with Lehman Engel).  His play "Pete and Joe at the Dew Drop Inn" was selected for The Best American Short Plays 2008-2009.
