Carolyn Nur Wistrand’s plays have been staged in New York City with The Castillo Theatre, The Nat Horne Theatre, Playwrights Preview Productions, Open Eye: New Stagings, Harold Clurman Theatre, Arthur Seelen Theatre, New Perspectives Theatre and The Negro Ensemble Company. Her work has also been staged by Echo Theatre, Dallas; The Bilingual Foundation for the Arts, Los Angeles; Teatro Bravo and Bridge Initiatives, Phoenix; The Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta and Around the Coyote, Chicago. Carolyn is an Assistant Professor in the English Program, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Humanities, Dillard University, New Orleans, Louisiana and lectures online for The Dept. of Africana Studies, UM-Flint.
